The suction cups are used to stick the Aquarium-Fresher onto the aquarium glass wall. However, over time these can become brittle and the Aquarium-Fresher no longer sticks to the glass wall. Replace the suction cups at regular intervals so that your Aquarium-Fresher is always optimally positioned in the aquarium.
